Countryside Fun

With 20 acres of beautiful rolling countryside on our private estate and located at the heart of the Tamar Valley AONB, there are no shortage of ways to get some good, fresh, Westcountry air into those lungs here at Honicombe Holiday Village.  We’ve really made the most of the outside space here too, filling it with activities for the whole family to enjoy.

We're based in stunning Rural Countryside

20 acres of rolling countryside

It’s easy to lose yourself in our grounds (don’t worry, you’ll always find your way back – follow your nose to the pub)! Within our 20 acres you can wander and explore to your hearts content with nothing but the most spectacular countryside views and gentle sound of birdsong and rustling leaves to keep you company, utter bliss.

Small Outdoor Heated Pool

Heated to a balmy 27 C+, the outdoor pool is a great place to relax in the sunshine or to enjoy a quiet day staying close to your lodge.  Whilst the kids enjoy splashing about and making new friends, parents can find a spot on the large outdoor terrace to indulge in a bit of rest and relaxation.

Please note: Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool at all times and under 16s must have an adult with them in the pool area.

Available to guests in subscribing properties only. Please check before booking or for complete peace of mind please book direct with us.

Outdoor pool open mid May to mid September
For your safety all sessions must be pre booked online

Climbing Frames and Play Equipment

Whilst you’re out and about exploring the park, don’t forget to pause a while and let the kids blow off some steam at one of the play parks.  Sturdy wooden climbing frames, swings and slides will keep them running around for hours and maybe making some new friends along the way.

There's plenty of open space onsite and nearby

Local Walks and Nature Trails

In addition to our own 20 acres the Tamar Valley offers ample outside space, trails and footpaths for the family to explore.  Pulling on those hiking boots and heading out on foot is one of the best ways to immerse yourself in our spectacular natural environment, spotting local flower and plant life and seeing what wildlife you can find along the way.
