Honicombe is based in the beautiful Tamar Valley AONB which stretches from Bodmin to Dartmoor and from the beaches of East Cornwall to the pretty towns of West Devon. There is plenty to see and do for the whole family. Everyone from the thrill seekers, beach babies and wildlife lovers will find something to suit them right on our doorstep. Lydford Gorge
Uncover a little magic at Lydford, searching for the wooden sculptures hidden away in the undergrowth and marvelling at the spectacular 30m waterfall at the South West’s deepest natural gorge. The kids will love peering into the Devil’s Cauldron, getting involved in the den building workshops or playing a good old fashioned game of pooh sticks from the Waterfall Bridge. Outdoorsy kids will love getting back to nature and exploring all day long.
National Marine Aquarium
Take a tour of the world’s oceans and marvel at the weird and wonderful sea life to be found at the UKs largest aquarium in Plymouth. It’s easy to while away a whole day oohing and aahing your way through the four zones teeming with marine creatures from fearsome sharks to brightly coloured tropical fish. Don’t forget to find Nemo, the famous clownfish is there somewhere!

Eden Project
Get lost in the rainforest at Cornwall’s world-famous tropical biomes. Discover new species, housed in the balmy domes, marvel at the extraordinary outdoor gardens and unearth some incredible sculptures on the art trail. With a constantly changing ecosystem and exhibits, there is always something new for the whole family to get stuck into.
